Today we had to walk around for a long time with a 25 pound bumper plate over our heads! I don't know which was hurting worse: my legs, my shoulders or my pride at being worse at it then the other people in class.

That's right, fullerene_pal!

So I got to use the regular weight and in 10 minutes I did 4 of the power snatches, or PS as it's called there with that 75 pound weight! Plus I worked on my jumping rope skills. I can almost do singles but not double-unders, or DUs as we call them.

I don't like their lipping pull ups. if you can't do a pullup, do neutral grip pullups. if you can't do neutral grip, then do chinups. once you can do ten of the easier ones, focus more on wide grip pullups, the hardest of the three.

How the other guys in class could do 4x that much is beyond me. I guess they've developed that kind of insane strength the only way you can...Crossfit!

Got an 800 meter run plus 30 burners and 50 sit-ups in under 15 minutes.

I'm seeing a huge difference already, but now I'm going to have to miss two weeks because of travel. That's too long not to have an adverse MetCon effect.

It sounds like you are Crossfit fat, not Crossfit fit. I suggest you change up your workouts to concentrate on fight-specific conditioning exercises. I have seen people transform their bodies more radically doing this than any other type of exercise program. I'll ask Freddie Roach if he has any specific tips for you.

There are some studies that prove that no system works better than Crossfit. And there is anectdotal evidence that anyone who denies this is struggling to achieve unbroken double unders.
